Salt Lake City, Utah (January 12, 2022) Dr. Lili Yang has been appointed the newest member of the 4Life Health Science Advisory Board (HSAB). Dr. Yang comes to 4Life Research as a professor in the Department of Nutrition at Sun Yat Sen University (SYSU) and with a wealth of research experience in the areas of nutrition and wellness.

Dr. Yang received her M.D. from Harbin Medical University, a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, and was a post-doctoral research fellow at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She is a board member for the Division of Nutrition and Toxicology of Society of Nutrition of China; the Society of Nutrition of Guangdong Province, China; and the Society of Stroke Prevention, Treatment, and Rehabilitation of Guangdong Province, and she is an active member of the Society of Nutrition of America.

Chief Science Officer David Vollmer: “With her vast expertise in nutritional science at prestigious U.S. institutions such as Weill Cornell Medical College and Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Yang is well-suited to help support 4Life Research in continuing to create cutting edge and superbly researched products.”

Dr. Yang has conducted research at five different universities, published 35 research papers, and presented at 13 scientific conferences. Her honors are numerous: Medical Award of United Laboratories at SYSU of Medical Sciences in 1999, the Golden Award of Teaching Contest of School of Public Health of SYSU in 2013, and Tip-top Scientific and Technical Innovative Youth Talents of Guangdong Province in 2016.
