Hurricane Maria Relief Efforts in Puerto Rico
Hurricane Maria Relief Efforts in Puerto Rico10/11/2017

Salt Lake City, Utah (October 11, 2017) In partnership with 4Life distributors, employees, and executives, Foundation 4Life® donated more than $100,000 of supplies and fuel and over 30 pallets of food to 4Life family members in Puerto Rico who were devastated by Hurricane Maria.

Platinum International Diamonds Juan and Damaris Rosado asked for donations during a Facebook Live video. Florida distributors and community members, many who were also victims of recent hurricanes, rallied together and gathered supplies to send to Puerto Rico. Thanks to their generosity, over 20,000 pounds of supplies were sent to aid distributors and their families.

Platinum International Diamond Dr. Herminio Nevárez: “What 4Life and Foundation 4Life are doing for Puerto Rico is amazing. In my entire career, I have never seen a response like this anywhere else in the network marketing industry.”

One Puerto Rican distributor forgot her own needs and drove to the remote city of Corozal with a generator and bags of 4Life Fortify®. The city has been without power since Hurricane Maria made landfall on September 20. This distributor made over 250 hot meals and gave them to the people of Corozal. For most, it was their first hot meal in weeks.

Vice President of Service Catherine Larsen: “Distributors saw needs and came together. Foundation 4Life jumped in and helped support their efforts. In the end, it wasn’t about the meals or the amount of money that was donated. It was about the kindness and courage that these distributors showed when they forgot their own needs and eagerly served their 4Life family members.”

4Life has offices in 24 markets to serve a global network of independent distributors and their customers.
