Say goodbye to sleepless nights and hello to one of the most powerful, potent, and effective sleep aids: 4Life Transfer Factor® SleepRite! We spoke with Lawry Han, VP of Product Development, to learn the ins and outs of 4Life’s newest sleep supplement.* Keep reading to learn more.

Q: What are the main benefits of 4Life Transfer Factor SleepRite?

A: SleepRite helps people fall asleep quicker and easier, so they feel restored and refreshed the next morning. This formula has three major unique features:

  1. SleepRite® is the first and only sleep support product that targets the immune system aspect of your sleep health with 4Life Transfer Factor® Blend.*
  2. SleepRite contains several clinically studied ingredients that target critical sleep pathways to support restful and restorative sleep.*
  3. This exact formula has been validated in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, which is known as the gold standard of clinical studies.

Q: How does immunity impact sleep?

A: We have known for decades that lack of sleep impacts your immune system. However, it is a relatively new scientific discovery that your immune system can impact your sleep health and sleep quality. Different types of immune system stressors impact sleep in different ways. A messed-up immune system can lead to messed-up sleep patterns. A healthy and balanced immune system is critical for sleep health. Building on these latest discoveries, we researched and developed SleepRite, which features 4Life Transfer Factor Blend to support your immune system and your sleep health.*

Q: What key ingredients make this product stand out?

  • 4Life Transfer Factor Blend – Exclusively offered by 4Life, this powerful ingredient educates your immune system to recognize, respond to, and remember potential health threats.*
  • Sustained Release Melatonin – Melatonin, also known as the sleep hormone, plays important roles in regulating your sleep patterns. Melatonin has further been shown to support healthy immune system function. With the unique sustained release melatonin in this formula, not only do you get an immediate increase of your melatonin levels at bedtime, but you also maintain good levels of melatonin throughout the night.*
  • Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) – GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter in your brain, which means it helps you calm down and relax. GABA has also been shown to help immunity by increasing the levels of IgA, which is a major antibody. Antibodies are an important component of your immune system.*
  • Ashwagandha – Ashwagandha is a popular and well-known adaptogen. It has been used for centuries to reduce everyday stress and promote body relaxation and sleep.*
  • Lavender oil – Lavender essential oil is well known for creating a calming and relaxing sensory experience. These traditionally well-known benefits have been proven by modern science in many clinical studies.*
  • Magnesium – This important mineral is a cofactor for more than 300 enzymes inside your body. *
  • Vitamin B6 – Vitamin B6 is important for your brain and nerve function and your immune system function. Vitamin B6 also supports the natural production of melatonin.*

Q: What is Sustained Release Melatonin?

A: Sustained release melatonin has a unique and advantageous release profile compared to regular melatonin (see Figure 1). Regular melatonin typically releases into your system quickly, meaning you only get the immediate melatonin increase. Sustained release melatonin releases about half the melatonin immediately, and the rest of the melatonin gradually releases over the following five to six hours.* SleepRite helps people fall asleep at bedtime and helps people sleep through the night.*

Q: What is a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled clinical study?

A: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study is often considered the gold standard for clinical studies.

  • Randomized: All study participants were randomly assigned to either the active group or the placebo group.
  • Double-blinded: Neither study participants nor the researchers know which products participants were taking during the study.
  • Placebo-controlled: A placebo is a “sugar pill” that looks like the active product but does not have any of the active ingredients in the active product.

Q: What does the clinical study show about 4Life Transfer Factor SleepRite?

A: The clinical study evaluated the effectiveness of 4Life Transfer Factor SleepRite on sleep health and quality with real people in real life. The study results showed that after two weeks of using SleepRite, there was a 15% improvement in falling asleep quickly, a 33% improvement in falling asleep easily, and a 20% improvement in sleep health and quality, as measured by the Insomnia Severity Index (see Figure 2). We will publish this clinical study in a peer-reviewed scientific journal soon.*

Q: What is an institutional review board for a clinical study?

A: Under FDA regulations, an Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a group that has been formally designated to review and monitor biomedical research involving human subjects. In accordance with FDA regulations, an IRB has the authority to approve, require modifications in, or reject research. An independent IRB reviewed and approved the SleepRite clinical study and declared it a minimal risk study.

Q: What is the registry number of SleepRite clinical study, and how can I access it?

A: The clinical study registry number is NCT05368909, and the study can be accessed through ClinicalTrials.gov. To find the study, go to the main page, ClinicalTrials.gov, enter the registry number under “Other terms,” and click “Search.” Or, you can click here to view the information.

Q: Who can use this product?

A: Anyone 18 years or older who wants to support sleep health and quality can use this product.*

Q: How do I take this product?

A: We recommend taking two capsules daily or as needed, 30 minutes before bedtime.

Q: Can I take fewer or more capsules than the recommended two capsules?

A: Depending on your specific situations, you can choose to take one capsule, two capsules, three capsules, or four capsules each night. We recommend taking two capsules daily or as needed, 30 minutes before bedtime, as that is the dosage used in the SleepRite clinical study. We DO NOT recommend taking more than four capsules each night. Please check with your medical doctor prior to taking this supplement with any additional questions.
