In May 2019, Research and Development Manager Anna Andersen presented on transfer factor characterizations at Immunology 2019
in San Diego, California. In June, Chief Scientific Officer David Vollmer presented his team’s research on the impact of the Digest4Life®
Reset System on the human gut microbiome at Probiota Americas
in Vancouver, British Colombia. Then, in October, Vice President of Research and Development Brent Vaughan, Ph.D., accepted a Gold Golden Bridge Award in San Francisco for University Validation of Pre/o Biotics®
Also in October, a study was published in the Journal of Nutrition and Health Sciences
, a peer-reviewed journal with nutrition and dietary supplement research. The study was conducted by Dr. Vaclav Vetvicka from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and evaluated different immune cell types, including NK cells, and found significant improvements with transfer factor supplementation.
The 4Life Research and Development team issued two Technical White Papers as part of the development and validation process for new products in 2019: 4Life Transfer Factor®
Collagen and the äKwä®
skincare system. The esteemed International Journal of Molecular Sciences
published some of 4Life’s preliminary research on 4Life Transfer Factor Collagen.
